How do they attach? With peel and stick neoprene automotive-type adhesive tape, or if you wish, for indoor use only, we will affix a magnetic strip at no extra charge. However, we cannot guarantee how well the magnetic strip will adhere in your application. From personal experience it won't survive an automatic car wash. The magnetic strips work best on the tags that are used indoors - ie, on filing cabinets, metal doors, your spouse's desk at their office, on the kitchen table during listing presentations, on the foyer table during open hoses, etc.

The best place depends on the length of your tag and the design and style of your vehicle. One place not to put them on any vehicle would be on the windows even though they are higher up and more people might see your tag. Don't put your tag on the windows because car manufacturers use some sort of chemical within the glass that helps the rain disperse faster, and the tags won't stick well after the first rain or car wash.

Because most vehicles today just don't have very much steel in them and the magnetic backing has nothing to adhere firmly to.

If your car's paint is in good condition to begin with, the adhesive will not cause damage. Every car dealership has a body shop where they can use a heat gun to remove your tag for you, or, if you're the do-it-yourself type, your tags may be removed with the aid of a hair dryer to soften adhesive. Soften a section at a time and gently pry up as each section becomes soft. If carefully removed, your RealtyTag may be used again by applying a new adhesive backing available at most auto supply stores.
